Inspired by the late 1400’s painting of the same name by Hieronymus Bosch, the ‘Garden of Earthly Delights’ scent has grounding notes of the earth (local cedar, sandalwood & rosemary) while taking one into the ethereal and succulent (bergamot). The light floral citrus is layered within the deep herbaceous scent. Earthly pleasures at their finest.

Neroli Noir

The Neroli Noir scent was inspired by the rich history of Neroli essential oil. Neroli is made from orange blossoms and named after Anna Maria de La Trémoill, the 17th century Italian princess of Nerola. She bathed in the bitter orange tree essence and used it to perfume her gloves.

Neroli is a euphoric and hypnotic scent with a sensually refreshing and distinctively spicy sweet aroma. We’ve blended Neroli and Spikenard, a herb that has a weird and wonderful fragrance, with deep roots in medicine and perfumery. Neroli Noir is of a darker nature - an homage to the carnal passions of the common folk.

Head of Roses

We love the weird and surreal at Sangre de Fruta, so we looked to Dali when seeking inspiration for our Rose scent. With his painting “Head of Roses” from 1935 in mind we looked past the cliches about roses and dove in. True Rose really is a heart-warming oil in aromatherapy. Rose has had a bad reputation in recent decades due to the highly synthesised versions of it in the perfume and beauty industries. We’ve gone back to the roots of perfumery, and we’re using pure Rose oil. We’ve paired it with Sandalwood, a sacred heartwood. Like putting your nose into a rose in the garden, with the added depth and warmth of sandalwood and a nod to the surreal.
